<aside> ☝ The DAFO.club is all about co-creating meaningful and disruptive capabilities for the fashion industry.
On paper, DAFO, which stands for Decentralized Autonomous Fashion Organization, is a DAO governed by #dafounders. In other words, it’s metahuman fashion club based on this founding principle:
i.e. all members are equally important
The DAFO’s DAO treasury is exclusively controlled by the club members (i.e. #dafounders) and is 100% focused on fuelling the future of the fashion industry with voted initiatives. And yes, brands, startups, current employers or side projects where #dafounders are involved, in their real life, will be able to benefit from these NFT-funded technologies. That means we will use this money to invest in your best fashion projects/ideas to build a collective asset instead of irrelevant silos.

We believe that the most constructive way to reinvent the fashion future (i.e. #FSHNFTR in our language) is by not letting our backgrounds dictate our futures.
We decided, as CEOs, CMOs, CTOs, VPs, Professors, Students, Fashion Designers, Models, Artists, Mentors and Activists, to explore the unknown of the WEB3 and the Metaverse as human beings removed from our birth identity (gender, race, social standing, credentials, etc.) to build and collaborate together on an inclusive version of a sustainable fashion world thanks to our phygital metahuman club.
Today, we invite you to join us, whoever you are. Although it might be frightening to create something out of nothing in the WEB3, we sincerely believe that replicating existing complex traditional corporate systems isn’t the solution.
And yes, let’s be honest: it all started from a WHAT DAF*CK MOMENT where some #dafounders were worried about the growing dirty sides of fashion: overconsumption, anti-inclusive standards leading to objectification of women/men/non-binary people, lack of shared value between GAFAM and human beings, etc.
Today, these same #dafounders are determined to share their skills and leadership to help human beings to truly self-express themselves by existing as they really are and, in the long term, make a difference by virtually wearing more but consuming less.
All hail to human beings becoming owners instead of consumers thanks to a sustainable fashion future, the WEB3 and the DAFO.club.

Be Yourself. No fashion background required: We told you this already, you can join whoever you are. This is why in the club, the #dafounders let their IRL job titles outside.
Speak Up. Saying DAF*CK is OK: How can you express who you truly are if you don’t have the courage to speak up about what you fundamentally believe in. Exploring new ideas is the best way to innovate. Best ideas usually came out easily after real WTF moments. #nofilter
Enjoy Secrets & Anonymity. It’s not a joke: What happens in DAFO stays in DAFO. Otherwise, what would be the fun of a club? ;-P And yes, you decide if you want others to know your real identity. That’s your metahuman most fundamental freedom and privilege.
Do You. Be loyal to yourself and only engage in projects that represent you. There will be a wide range of projects and opportunities to do so (and get out of your comfort zone to discover your full potential).
Bring Value & Keep Us Stronger. DAFO is not an opportunity to get involved, it’s an opportunity to disrupt and leave a mark. Together we are stronger and our synergies make us unstoppable.
Be External. We are proud to say that DAFO is built on a counter-culture human-driven movement inspired from other initiatives: CryptoPunks, Nouns.wtf and ConstitutionDAO to name a few. We don’t fit in a mold. Our space has no boundaries and everything is possible.
Stay #Phygital. We promote a decent balance between the physical world and the digital one. We fight against social isolation. As mentioned by @punk6529, “we take care of IRL fam”.
Be Good. There are so many WTF problems such as a pandemic or a war: Don’t do to others what you wouldn’t like them to do you. PE-RI-OD.
Be Influential. Be honest, use your strength to help build momentum or offer thrust to what matters to you.
Be Collaborative. We are determined to drive projects that will shape a better world and need a team with the spirit to do so.
